Want to refresh your superseded Certificate IV – BSZ40198 Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment & TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and ensure your knowledge and skills are current, and you just need support to provide RPL evidence?
Develop the skills and knowledge required by vocational trainers & assessors to identify language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skill requirements of training and the work environment, and to use resources and strategies that meet the needs of the learner group.
This Nationally Recognised Training program is for the unit of competency destined to become mandatory in the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification. This program is led by a highly skilled and respected industry specialist.
This workshop is designed for people who already hold TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Enrolment Period: 3 months
Course Duration: One day face to face workshop in Brisbane where you complete a large part of the assessments followed by self-paced study supported by phone and email support. Most students aim to complete the self-paced components within one week.
Program structure: The program is offered in a face-to-face learning format, with a maximum of 10 in the class.

Program features: You will explore foundational skills to integrate LLN requirements into the design, delivery and assessment of training programs including:
- understanding learner needs
- incorporating the Australian Core Skills Framework to your practice
- analysing LLN requirements
- selecting & using resources & strategies to address LLN skill requirements
- using specialist LLN support where required
- evaluating the effectiveness of learning support & assessment strategies in addressing LLN requirements
Pathways: After updating your certificate you can apply for the Diploma in Vocational Education and Training TAE50111 or the Diploma of Training Design and Development TAE50211. This course incorporates the TAELLN411 adult language, litgeracy and numeracy units as part of the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment as well as updating your superseded BSZ40198 Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment and TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. A basic knowledge of PC's, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft WORD and Powerpoint are pre-requisites for this course. You will need a PC running Microsoft Windows (we do support the course running on an Apple Mac with Mac OS X Snow Leopard. However we do recommend that you use an Intel compatible Mac with "Parallels Desktop 5" or greater, and Windows installed) and Microsoft Office (PC or Mac version).
Course material will be provided on the first day of the workshop.
