FNSSS00014 Accounting Principles Skill Set
This skill set is designed for workers in accounting and bookkeeping job roles who use knowledge of accounting principles to perform a range of analytical tasks in a variety of industries.
Completion of this skill set is an entry requirement of FNS50217 Diploma of Accounting and a partial entry requirement for the FNS60217 Advanced Diploma of Accounting.
Students have 6 months to complete these units.

This skill set aims to enhance student's ability to develop a sound understanding of the main accounting reports that are the output from accounting systems. To provide students with the skills and techniques to analyse and interpret accounting information, together with the expertise to recognise and select financial information relevant to a particular business and financial decisions. To develop a sound basis of knowledge and interest in accounting that will provide students with a strong foundation for further studies in this field.
