John Feros is a Director of Bookkeeping Institute of Australia.
John has been a practicing accountant continuously for 33 years.
He holds Degrees in Business and Applied Science and is an FCPA, Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia and a Registered Tax Agent.
From a training perspective, John was a tutor in Taxation Law and Practice in the B. Bus course at NTU, and frequent Professional Development presenter for CPA Australia and HKMA.
John's firm, FMC Accounting, has been the Bookkeeping Institute of Australia's external accountants since 2009. He was very impressed with what the founders of BIA had achieved, and when the opportunity arose, he welcomed the opportunity to purchase the company with Debra Lewis.
John believes that professionalism is required for bookkeepers to play a meaningful role in the commercial world, and that a solid training foundation under-pins a professional. He understands well the dynamics between client, bookkeeper and accountant, and sees many opportunities for qualified bookkeepers, especially of course if they are trained at BIA!
BIA's role for John is simple - be the Australian Leader in delivery of Certificate IV Bookkeeping.
